The IRS is currently inviting public comments on Form T, Forest Activities Schedule.

Written comments should be received on or before January 12, 2010 to be assured of consideration. All written comments should be addressed to Glenn Kirkland, Internal Revenue Service, Room 6242, 1111 Constitution Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20224.

The purpose of this comment request is to "reduce paperwork and respondents burden". Form T is filed by individuals and corporations for timber income and deductions. "The IRS uses Form T to determine if the correct amounts of income and deductions are claimed."
